Time Stand Still

Dear Swimmers,

I promise, you can expect a few new and exciting workouts within the next couple of days.  Time is a funny thing.  At the moment, it seems to slowly move by while days passed without notice.

In my experience, time stops in two places: start block and waiting rooms. 

There is no way getting around it.  Time will get you every time!

At the moment, I have entrusted the skilled hands of the doctors and nurses with my mother's life....and the future use of her hip........

......and after all the talking and learning and prepping...

................we wait.

.....and wait.

Perhaps this is where that leap of faith comes in.
