This was included in the most recent USA Swimming’s Coaching Connection newsletter (2012 Volume 23). It’s not everyday you see an Eagle swimming…let alone swimming the Butterfly – from the Mallard Lakes subdivision in Baton Rouge.

Today’s workout mixes some breaststroke with some basic aerobic work. With the breaststroke drill: Focus on making your hips “pop” with the fly kick ( and then find the same “pop” with your breaststroke!).
