I know I’ve been missing in action these last few weeks…but I swear! I had a good reason!!!! Here’s why:
Short Version:
A few years ago, I received my Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Boston College. About 2 years ago, I moved back to NJ. Not so bad, right? Wrong. NJ doesn’t accept Mass. license requirements. Fun. Times.
About two months ago, I was approved to sit for National Counselor Exam. About 2-weeks ago, I found out that it was in my best interest to complete the requirements – and pass this comprehensive exam – before the end of 2011. December 15th was the last day to take the exam.
Three years of Grad School in two weeks? Pffttthhhh! Not a problem.
Coach Meg Vs. the NCE = Pass.
(and for those interested – Yes, I do plan on moving towards sports counseling/psychology and combining this with my work as a swim coach.)
(Look in the upper right corner – under my fabulous “I’m ready for my close-up” mug shot….you will see the very-fuzzy-words “PASS”)
Stay Tuned for More Workouts!
Keep on Swimming,
Coach Meg
